During the CCACC WMA Basketball tournament, I helped out with score keeping. The needed service addressed was having players and audience not to worry that they wouldn’t know what the score would be at the end of each game. The coaches and the players benefitted from this service because they wouldn’t have to fight about points a team has or the number of fouls each player has. All this information was in the score book.
This service connects to Math because I have to do my best to be very precise in score and time keeping. Otherwise, other people might be disappointed if their teams lost games and people fought for the number of fouls a player has.
This experience has helped me to be more independent and that many people counted on me. I learned about myself that I can have a bit of fun while remaining serious when the time is needed.
